LWF 60 fireproof retractable ladder

The LWF 60 is a new generation retractable ladder that combines a high level of fire protection with convenient and safe access to the attic, attic or crawl space.

Its special design and the materials used in the manufacture of the hatch provide a protection of up to 60 minutes against fire penetration from the space where the ladder is installed. This makes LWF 60 a particularly suitable solution for installations where high fire resistance is required.

The staircase incorporates a triple joint system, which guarantees a hermetic closure of the hatch and helps limit the passage of smoke and fire between the different rooms.

Maximum fire protection

The hatch, finished in white on both sides, has significant thermal insulation of 7.9cm and a total thickness of 8.5cm.

Furthermore, it is equipped with a expandable seal which, when coming into contact with high temperatures, expands and helps prevent the fire from passing through the trapdoor to the other space.

The LWF 60 reaches a fire resistance class EI1/EI2 60 minutes, offering prolonged protection against the spread of fire.

Convenient and safe access

The ladder design allows for comfortable access thanks to the reduced distance between the last step and the upper floor, facilitating entry and exit from the attic.

The specially designed hinge controls the movement of the hatch during its opening. When opened, the hatch moves away from the ladder rungs, automatically increasing the available space and making the use of the ladder more comfortable.
